We accept students
who demonstrate a desire to abide by the educational and spiritual principles of
the school, maintain high standards of Christian conduct, and have the ability
to do the required work. Church
affiliation is not a prerequisite for enrollment.
Parents must exhibit a desire for a private, Christian education
experience for their children and be willing to cooperate with the school’s
policies and procedures.
ensure academic excellence, TCS maintains class sizes of no more than 22
students in Kindergarten and first grade and 24 for grades two through five,
employs state certified teachers, provides a comprehensive curriculum, and
administers the Stanford Achievement Test to monitor instructional progress.
School hours in the elementary school are 8:20am – 3:00pm
TCS curriculum publishers include:
curriculum also includes Beginning Spanish Instruction, Physical Education,
Computer Application, Library Use, Study Skills, Art Masterpiece and Music.
TCS follows the holiday
schedule of the Tempe School District and Arizona State University.
We begin near the middle of August and end at the end of May.
TCS holds weekly chapel
service for all classes. The
purpose is to teach a reverence for worshiping God, and to learn about Him and
His ways in a spirit of school unity.
